Lil Wayne is denying rumors that he married his erratic girlfriend Denise Bidot.

The 38-year-old rapper addressed the claims that he and the 35-year-old model were married during an Instagram live on Thursday night, following Nicki Minaj’s mention of a post he made in April. “Happiest man alive!” was Wayne’s tweet. “After seeing some tweets the other day, I was like, ‘Oh, what’s going on?’” I sent you a text message saying, “Oh, congrats.” “I can tell you’ve been in a good mood,” said 38-year-old Minaj. And I congratulated you since I mistakenly believed you had tied the knot.

“I’m really happy you asked me that,” was Wayne’s response. I never married.

Wayne went on to clarify that when he said “The Carters” in his tweet, he was alluding to his sons, who had just started a rap group with the same na me.

Just one week earlier, Wayne shared on Twitter a cute video of Bidot writing their na mes in sand. Against the background of one of his new songs, he was heard saying, “Okay, you wanna talk about it / Let’s write our na mes in the sand / Draw a heart around it, yeah.”

The couple initially made their relationship public on social media in June 2020 with a set of pictures that Bidot shared on her Instagram account.

Bidot most recently shared a photo of herself and Wayne on Instagram in May, writing the words “FOREVER.”

Prior to this, Wayne was married to Toya Jackson from 2004 to 2006; the couple had a daughter na med Reginae. His sons from previous relationships are Cameron, Dwayne, and Neal.
