Appearing on a recent show, Sandra Bullock admitted that she wanted to work with actor Keanu Reeves again. Sandra and Keanu once starred in two hit movies, ‘Speed’ and ‘The lake house’.
Sandra Bullock shared: “Before I die, before I leave this planet, I think Keanu and I need to appear together one more time in front of the camera.”
Sandra even humorously teased about the production of the third part of Speed – the movie starring Sandra and Keanu: “You know, we can still sit in wheelchairs if we want to act in the movie.” this movie”.
Part 1 of Speed achieved great success both commercially and professionally. With only a budget of 30 million USD, Speed earned more than 350 million USD and won 2 categories at the 1995 Oscars.
However, it seemed that Keanu had a bad feeling so he refused to film the sequel to Speed in 1997 so that Sandra could star with Jason Patric and this was truly a “disaster”.
They have been called by many critics as one of the worst sequels of all time. Although Reeves turned down Speed 2 due to the script, he is still willing to reunite with Bullock for the third part of the series.
The male lead of the previous Matrix movie also admitted that he turned down the opportunity to star in Speed 2 because he was not excited about the story set in the ocean.
Speaking on The Graham Norton Show in 2021, he recalled: “At the time I wasn’t thrilled with the script. Although I still wanted to work with Sandra Bullock, and loved playing Jack Traven, I loved Speed, But playing the role of a ship driver? I don’t mean to criticize the actors participating in the project, but at that time I really felt like something was wrong.”

However, according to Sandra, she doesn’t want to date actor John Wick because she doesn’t want dating and breaking up to change her mind about Keanu: “Keanu is a very good guy in my opinion.
