He was accompanied by none other than his best friend and former teammate Dwyane Wade, who plays for Miami Heat. The two were joined by Wade’s wife, the talented actress Gabrielle Union, as they basked in the sun in the Bahamas.
The famous personalities were spotted enjoying their time on a luxurious yacht named Amarula Sun, which happens to be a whopping 50 meters or 164 feet long. They took a break from basketball season and indulged in some leisure time. Wade was probably cheering for his one-year contract extension worth $20 million with Miami Heat, which he supposedly obtained after being named All-Star for the eleventh time. Meanwhile, LeBron James was also celebrating his $23 million contract deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
LeBron James had a luxurious trip where he was spotted partying with other NBA players such as Chris Paul from the LA Clippers and Carmelo Anthony from the New York Knicks.
LeBron James wouldn’t have had any trouble affording the $220,000 weekly cost for the Amurula Sun. After all, he’s won numerous NBA championships, MVP awards, and Olympic gold medals, not to mention an NBA scoring title. With all of his achievements, LeBron has amassed quite a bit of money in the bank. He’s even expanding his career into the movie industry, starring alongside Bill Hader in the upcoming Judd Apatow comedy ‘Trainwreck,’ set to debut in the United States on July 17.
